Rebooting Care Coordination for AI

A care coordination prototype built on a simple bet: AI's value is in clearing the structural problems that quietly block everything, so design, technology, and the human work of care can finally move. Synthesized, designed, and built end-to-end with AI.

My second brain, sort of

Built for a neurospicy brain. Wired Claude into my daily planner, calendar, and email so AI handles the executive-function tax that quietly burns out the parts of my mind I actually want working. A personal problem, solved in public.

A designer's AI sandbox

The site you're using. Designed, written, vibe-coded, and deployed end-to-end with AI. Sandbox, not portfolio — the place I test what an AI-enabled design practice actually feels like.

Work

Design in the Age of AI

Product Design Director AI Adoption · Team development

At peak, a team of 8. At leanest, 3. We supported 22 cross-functional partners across full product scope, from product discovery to production code. We developed and iterated an AI-powered design process that compressed discovery cycles by 50% and expanded ownership to front-end delivery, enabling designers to rapidly inform strategy while releasing more solutions than when the team was larger.

Getting clinicians to trust AI summaries

Staff Product Designer AI experience design · Evaluation · Editorial control

Cityblock's first production AI feature, replacing a projected 150 hours a month of manual chart assembly. Clinicians won't trust a summary they didn't write, so I made every part of it checkable. Each fact linked back to the source, the AI output was fully editable, feedback could be submitted without leaving the page, and it was embedded in the workflow they already ran. Full adoption by the pilot market, and teams started using the summaries to prep member calls we hadn't designed for.

Right care, right time, designed for AI

Staff Product Designer UX Strategy · AI foundations · Discovery · Design

Two roles needed to work off the same priority list while the rules for what counted as priority changed under them every quarter. I designed a signal-driven feed that held steady on what didn't change. Rules-based on purpose, built as the chassis for AI. The work was paused when strategy shifted. Cityblock's 2026 direction matches this thesis. Context: care teams at Cityblock Health, 100K+ Medicaid members.

Predicting care needs at scale ahead of AI

Staff Product Designer Business strategy · AI foundations · Discovery · Design

Predict who's about to become expensive before they do, using data we already had. I sized the market, validated product-market fit, and designed the prototype that shipped as the product. Still live after an acquisition. Outcomes: 50% reduction in cost for multi-visit patients across 1B+ encounters annually. Context: healthcare ADT data at PatientPing, now Bamboo Health.

About

Design leader, analyst, founder, educator, coach.

Most recently Design Director and AI partner at Cityblock Health — a $1BN+ platform serving 700+ clinicians and 100K+ Medicaid members. I designed the first-generation tooling for their AI-first operating model, spanning insights, strategy, and code.

Before that, a decade across consumer and enterprise tech — from series-A startup to $500M acquisition, with $18M+ in revenue impact.

I still reach for pen and paper for the hardest work.

I believe the greatest value of designers is how we think.
