My UX Ethos

Humility as a Foundation

I believe that humility is a foundational element of a good UX process. I've witnessed humility to be at the core of quality interactions with users and in collaborative work with colleagues. It sets the stage for the discovery phase of a project to converge on the true needs of the users and stakeholders. It provides the best playground for creative solutions.

UX is Not Just About Design. It’s a Good Business Philosophy

As a seasoned professional from healthcare real estate / finance and a Co-Founder of a creative not-for-profit endeavor, I personally witnessed the positive economic and cultural impact that a user-centric approach can have on both my team/company and the clients. Armed with this perspective, I’m equipped to speak persuasively about the benefits of UX to stakeholders and ground my teammates on the practical outcomes of the solutions.

Thorough but Lean UX Mindset

I've practiced the Lean UX approach but with extra emphasis on strategy and research. I've found that this encourages deep understanding of the macro business forces down to the individual users' pain points which incubates the best assumptions for testing. As a result, the successive "make and measure" iterations are more efficient, accurate and precise.
